This is Miami under the moonlight. A storm has recently passed along the East Coast of Florida, leaving some trace clouds behind. The clean atmosphere makes the city lights pop out of the frame. This photograph was possible by pure chance. On this particular day, Jamaica airspace was closed and we had to deviate around it. Deviations this large begin several hundred miles before, and in our case, it was precisely abeam West Palm Beach
